ABOUT 4 JAW CHUCKS

A four-jaw chuck is a type of chuck you use in machining operations to hold and rotate workpieces on a lathe or similar machine tool. Unlike the three-jaw chuck, which has three jaws, the four-jaw chuck has four independently adjustable jaws.
